Kölnissä järjestetään 6.-8.6.2025 CircusDanceFestival, jonka taustaorganisaatio Overhead Project on tehnyt usean vuoden ajan yhteistyötä tiedotuskeskuksen kanssa, muun muassa suomalaissaksalaisen residenssiohjelman yhteydessä. Tiedotuskeskus suuntaa kesäkuussa festivaalille sekä tutustumaan sirkus- ja tanssitoimijoihin Kölnissä ja tarjoaa yhdessä Overhead Projectin kanssa neljälle sirkuksen ja tanssin ammattilaiselle mahdollisuuden osallistua verkostoitumismatkalle.
Aktiivinen osallistuminen matkaohjelmaan sekä oman työn ja organisaation esittely ovat olennainen osa kokonaisuutta. Ohjelmaan kuuluu myös tiedotuskeskuksen järjestämiä tutustumiskäyntejä paikallisten toimijoiden tiloihin perjantaina 6.6., minkä jälkeen verkostoidutaan festivaalilla, osallistutaan Mental Health and Well-being in the Circus and Performing Arts Sector -seminaariin, keskusteluihin, esityksiin sekä elokuvanäytöksiin festivaalilla.
CircusDanceFestival järjestetään nyt kuudennen kerran. Festivaallilla keskitytään taiteellisten muotojen ja ideoiden moninaisuuteen festivaalialueen telttanäyttämöillä, päivittäin vaihtuvassa ulkoilmaohjelmassa kahdella 360°-lavalla ja Latibulin sirkuspuistossa. Ohjelmistossa on esityksiä yli 20 kansainväliseltä taiteilijalta.
Kenelle: Sirkuksen ja tanssin ammattilaisille, tuottajille ja taiteilijoille, jotka haluavat vahvistaa kansainvälisiä verkostojaan sekä tutustua saksalaisiin toimijoihin.
Matka- ja majoitustuki verkostoitumismatkan osallistujille:
Tiedotuskeskus ja Overhead Project tukevat matka- ja majoituskuluja max. 600 eurolla per henkilö (kuitteja vastaan).
Saksan hintatason ja matkustamisen hinnat huomioon ottaen on mahdollista, että kustannukset ylittävät tukisumman, eli suosittelemme tutustumaan hintoihin ajoissa. Osallistujien itse maksettavia kuluja ovat tuen ylittävien matka- ja majoituskulujen lisäksi ruokailut, julkinen liikenne, lentokenttäkuljetukset ja muut mahdolliset kulut.
Ohjelma tarkentuu lähempänä matkaa, ja tiedotuskeskus tiedottaa matkalle valittuja ohjelmasta ja matkajärjestelyistä. Matkalle on mahdollista tulla mukaan myös ilman matkatukea, olethan tällöin yhteydessä Lotta Nevalaiseen tai Petra Hannukseen.
HUOM: Osallistujat sitoutuvat raportoimaan matkastaan tiedotuskeskukselle. Yksityiskohdista sovitaan erikseen osallistujien kanssa.

CircusDanceFestival will be organized in Cologne June 6-8 by Overhead Project which has collaborated with Circus & Dance Info Finland for some years, for example in a joint Finnish-German residency program. Circus & Dance Info Finland will be participating in this year’s festival and visit some circus and dance organizations during the stay in Cologne. Together with Overhead Project Circus & Dance Info Finland is offering the possibility for four circus and dance artists/producers to join the networking trip on June 6-8.
Active participation in the travel program and presentation of one’s own work and organization are an essential part of the trip. The program also includes visits to local venues on Friday, June 6, organized by Circus & Dance Info Finland, after which networking will take place at the festival. We will be participating in the seminar “Mental Health and Well-being in the Circus and Performing Arts Sector” and in discussions, performances and film screenings of the festival.
In this 6th edition of the CircusDanceFestival the focus is on the diversity of artistic forms and ideas in a wide variety of formats – on the tent stages of the festival site, with a daily changing open-air programme on two 360° stages and the Latibul Circus Garden. Over 20 international artists will be presenting their work in Cologne.
For whom: Finland-based circus and dance professionals, producers and artists who want to strengthen their international networks and get to know the German circus and dance scene.
Travel and accommodation support for participants in the networking trip:
Circus & Dance Info Finland and Overhead project will support travel and accommodation costs with a maximum of 600 euros per person.
Considering the price level in Germany and the costs of travel, it is possible that the costs will exceed the amount of the support. In addition to travel and accommodation costs exceeding the support, the costs to be paid by the participants themselves include meals, public transport, airport transfers and other possible costs.
The program becomes more detailed closer to the trip, and Circus & Dance Info Finland informs those selected for the trip about the schedule and other travel arrangements.

NOTE: Participants commit to report about their trip to Circus & Dance Info Finland. Details will be agreed separately with the participants.
