Koreografi Tuulia Soininen ja Pirkanmaan Tanssin Keskus hakevat kahta tanssijaa tai tanssiakrobaattia uuteen kokopitkään nykytanssiteokseen Body Symphony (työnimi). Teos käsittelee läheisyyttä ja kehon lihallisuutta queer-feministisestä näkökulmasta, jonka kautta potentiaalisia tutkimushaaroja ovat alastomuus, seksuaalisuus ja intensiivinen fyysisyys.
Työskentelymetodit ja koreografin tausta prosessiin nousee nykytanssin puolelta, mutta haku on avoin erilaisista tanssin ja fyysisen esittävän taiteen taustoista tuleville esiintyjille! Aiempi kosketuspinta nykytanssiin ja improvisaatiopohjaiseen työskentelyyn on kuitenkin tärkeää.
Hakuaika on 31.7.-31.8. ja hakemusten perusteella kutsutaan koetanssitilaisuuteen pieni määrä hakijoita. Koetanssi järjestetään Tampereella lauantaina 10.10.2026.
Työskentely alkaa loppuvuodesta 2026. Esityskausi marraskuussa 2027.
Työskentely tapahtuu pääsääntöisesti Liikelaiturilla Tampereella.

Choreographer Tuulia Soininen and Pirkanmaa Dance Centre are looking for two dancers or dance acrobats for a new full-length contemporary dance piece Body Symphony (working title). The piece addresses intimacy and the fleshiness of the body from a queer-feminist perspective, through which potential branches of research include nudity, sexuality and intense physicality.
The choreographer and working methods come from the contemporary dance field, but the process is open to performers from different backgrounds in dance and physical performing arts. However, it is important to have some previous contact with contemporary dance and improvisation-based work.
The application period is 31.7.-31.8. The working process begins at the end of 2026. Performances in November 2027. Main working location is Liikelaituri at Tampere.
