Ilmoittaja: Aura of Puppets
Workshop for professional theatre makers with Norwegian multidisclipinary artist Marianne Stranger
In this workshop, we will use water as a starting point for creating a performance without human performers. Water becomes the protagonist, while sound, objects and other materials help shape the space and its unfolding story.
Through playful experiments, we will listen to water through our ears, hands and skin. We will set it in motion and use its sounds, rhythms and traces to make graphic scores. We will explore how water can feel cleansing, life-giving, threatening or wild, and how these qualities can create drama. By following chance and responding to what the material does, we will make room for the unexpected in the creative process.
