ÉLIXIR DE MER: LIIKKEELLINEN TEOSTYÖPAJA
Työpajassa syvennytään Élixir de Mer -teoksen liiketeemoihin teoksen kansainvälisten tanssijoiden, Andrea Martínin ja Clémentine Herveuxin, ohjauksessa. Päivän aikana tutustumme kehollisen mielikuvituksen maailmaan teoksen liikemateriaalin ja luomisprosessissa käytettyjen liikkeellisten harjoitteiden avulla.
Opit teoksen tanssijoiden omasta lähestymistavasta liikkeeseen, kuulet luomisprosessista ja koreografian muotoutumisesta sekä pääset tutustumaan teoksen tanssijoihin ja heidän tanssitaustaansa. Millaista Herveuxille on palata takaisin tutun teoksen ääreen? Entä miten Martín on astunut sisään teoksen maailmaan ensimmäistä kertaa?
Kurssi on avoin kaikille esittävän taiteen ammattilaisille ja opiskelijoille sekä muille liikkeen mekaniikasta kiinnostuneille.

ÉLIXIR DE MER: MOVEMENT-BASED WORKSHOPS
Join us for a workshop delving into the movement themes of Élixir de Mer, guided by international dance artists Andrea Martín and Clémentine Herveux. Throughout the day, we will explore the world of embodied imagination through movement material from the piece and physical practices used in its creative process.
You will gain insight into the dancers’ individual approaches to movement, hear about the creation process and the development of the choreography, and have the opportunity to meet the performers and learn about their artistic backgrounds. What is it like for Herveux to return to a familiar work? And how has Martín entered the world of the piece for the very first time?
The workshop is open to performing arts professionals and students, as well as anyone interested in the mechanics of movement.
