Mukaan voi hakea kuka tahansa esityksen ja oman työskentelyn jakamista kaipaava taiteilija. Illan aikana työtään jakaa yhteensä kolme taiteilijaa tai ryhmää. Tällä kertaa teemme kevyen kuratoinnin ennen kuin arvomme lopulliset osallistujat. Haluamme tarjota tilaa taiteilijoille, joilla tilaisuuksia oman työn jakamiseen tanssitilassa on vähän, ja samalla pyrimme kuratoimaan esitysillan, jonka esiintyjät työskentelevät mahdollisimman monenlaisista lähtökohdista käsin. Kannustamme kaikkia esitystaiteen ammattilaisia ja uransa ensi askelia ottavia esiintyjiä hakemaan mukaan!
Esityksen / jakamisen kesto voi olla maksimissaan 30 min. Jokaisen esityksen jälkeen on Huminan jäsenten fasilitoima keskustelu jaetuista esityksistä.
Tilan koko on 60 m2 ja se on kevyesti varusteltu. Tilassa on musta tanssimatto, yksinkertainen äänentoisto ja valokalusto. Valotilanteen voi valita akselilla hämärä-kirkas, muutoin ei ole mahdollisuutta tehdä eri valotilanteita. Esiintyjä tuo itse kaiken muun tarpeiston ja teknologian, mitä esityksessään tarvitsee. Tila on jokseenkin esteetön (matalia kynnyksiä on), mutta esteetön wc löytyy vain pihan kautta kuljettavan aulan puolelta.
Katsomo rakentuu tuoleista/tyynyistä, jotka voidaan sijoittaa yhdelle, kahdelle tai kolmelle sivulle tai ympäri tilan.
Osallistumisesta maksetaan pieni palkkio, 300e / esitys (palkkio on sama, vaikka ryhmässä olisi yksi tai enemmän jäseniä). Ensisijainen tarkoitus on tarjota tilaa jakamiseen, tutustumiseen ja yhteisölliseen kannatteluun. Palkkio maksetaan laskutuksella (summa sisältää alv), tai työkorvauksena.
Esityksellisiä aihioita, luonnoksia, demoja, konsepteja, osallistavia kokeiluja, esityksiä jaetaan la 26.9.2026 klo 18.00-21.00 Humina-tilassa, Uutiskatu 2, Länsi-Pasila, Helsinki.

Come join the Humina Open Space event on Sat 26.9.2026 at 18.00-21.00!
Anyone who wants to share a presentation and their own work can apply. A total of three artists or groups will share their work during the evening. This time we will make a light curation and after that we will make the selection of the final participants by lottery. We try to offer the space for artists who most lack possibilities to share their work in a dance space, as well as we wish to curate an evening with diversity between the performers. We encourage all kinds of professionals and people entering the profession to apply!
The maximum duration of the presentation/sharing can be up to 30 min. Each presentation will be followed by a discussion on the shared presentations facilitated by Humina members.
The size of the space is 60 m2. The space is lightly equipped. The floor is covered with black dance flooring, there is a simple sound system and lighting equipment. The lighting situation can be selected on the dim-bright axis, otherwise there is no possibility to create different lighting situations. The performer brings all the other equipment and technology they need. The facility is more or less accessible (there are some low thresholds), but the accessible toilet can only be found on the side of the hall leading through the yard.
For the audience there are chairs and cushions, which can be placed on one, two or three sides or around the space.
There will be a small fee paid for the artists, 300e/performance (the fee is the same even if there is one or more members in the group). The purpose is to offer a space for sharing, getting to know each other and community support. You can invoice the fee (incl VAT), or it will be paid as compensation for use (työkorvaus).
Sketches, demos, concepts, participative experiments, and presentations will be shared on Sat 26.9.2026 at 18.00-21.00 at Humina, Uutiskatu 2, Länsi-Pasila, Helsinki.
