PLAYTIME-workshop with Khadidiatou Bangoura, Jyväskylä 8.8.

Khadidiatou Bangoura tulee ensimmäistä kertaa Suomeen ja Jyväskylään pitämään tanssi-improvisaatiotyöpajaa sekä esiintymään ihka ensimmäisessä Raaka-klubissa. Khadi asuu Kölnissä Saksassa, on syntynyt Ranskassa ja on alunperin Liberiasta ja Guineasta. Kurssiesittely:

In this workshop, improvisation is encountered as a form of communication to express ourselves while developing our listening skills and intuition.  Musicality is deconstructed and explored as a tool  to deepen the elaborateness, expansiveness and playfulness of our dancing. We practice the integration of the influences, impulses, and inspirations inside and around us,  to  create narratives and share stories spontaneously and in real-time – individually as well as collectively. As a group we explore and experience the meaning and practice of (shared) leadership, support, responsibility, participation, and freedom. Elements of this practice are based on David Zambrano’s ”Soul Project,” his composition method ”Let’s Dance,” and Circle Singing. All experience levels are welcome. No prior knowledge is necessary—just curiosity, interest, and a desire to move.
