Sirkuksen ja tanssin tiedotuskeskus, Suomen Benelux-instituutti ja Suomen Britannian- ja Irlannin- instituutti järjestävät verkostoitumismatkan Circusstad-festivaalille Rotterdamiin, Hollantiin 2.–5.5.2024.
Matkalle voivat hakea kaikki sirkustaiteilijat ja -tuottajat, joilla on halu verkostoitua kansainvälisesti. Tarjoamme matkatuen 3-4 osallistujalle. Hakuohjeet alla.
Matkalle on mahdollista tulla mukaan myös ilman matkatukea, olethan tällöin yhteydessä Lotta Nevalaiseen ().
Matkan ohjelmaan kuuluu:
Osallistuminen Circusstad-festivaalin 2.–5.5.2024 ohjelmaan ja festivaalin yhteydessä järjestettävän ammattilaisille suunnatun hollantilaisen sirkuksen näyteikkunaan 3.–4.5.2024, joka sisältää keskusteluja, esityksiä, pitchauksia ja tapaamisia paikallisten sirkus- ja esittävien taiteiden toimijoiden kanssa.
Tiedotuskeskus tarjoaa liput näyteikkunan ohjelmassa oleviin esityksiin, mutta muut festivaalin esitysliput ovat itse maksettavia.
Lisäksi, tiedotuskeskus, Suomen Benelux-instituutti ja Suomen Britannian- ja Irlannin-instituutti järjestävät osallistujille yhteisen tapaamisen, jossa tavataan alueen sirkus- ja esittävän taiteen toimijoita.
Ohjelma tarkentuu lähempänä matkaa ja tiedotuskeskus tiedottaa matkalle valittuja rekisteröitymisestä ja muista matkajärjestelyistä.
Matka- ja majoitustuki osallistujille:
Sirkuksen ja tanssin tiedotuskeskus ja Suomen Benelux-instituutti tukee kolmen–neljän osallistujan matkakuluja max. 500 eurolla. Osallistujien itse maksettavia kuluja ovat tuen ylittävien matkakulujen lisäksi ruokailut, lentokenttäkuljetukset, paikallisliikenne ja muut mahdolliset kulut.
Osallistujat sitoutuvat tekemään tiedotuskeskukselle matkaraportin. Vaihtoehtoisesti on mahdollista tehdä tiedotuskeskuksen Instagramin takeover ja tuottaa somesisältöä matkan aikana. Yksityiskohdista sovitaan erikseen osallistujien kanssa.

Tiedotuskeskus ja Benelux-instituutti valitsevat osallistujat hakemusten ja oman asiantuntija-arvionsa perusteella.
Hakijoille ilmoitetaan päätöksistä 28.3.2024 mennessä.

Apply for the circus networking trip to Circusstad Festival in Rotterdam May 2–5, 2024
Circus and Dance Info Finland, the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux and the Finnish Institute in the UK and Ireland are organizing a networking trip to the Circusstad festival on May 2-5, 2024.
All circus artists and producers who want to network internationally can apply for the trip. We offer travel support for 3–4 participants. Application instructions are below.

The trip program includes:
Participation in the program of the Circusstad festival from 2 to 5 May 2024 and in the professional Dutch circus showcase organized in connection with the festival from 3 to 4 May 2024, which includes discussions, performances, pitches and meetings with local circus and performing arts actors.
Circus and Dance Info offers tickets for the shows in the showcase program, but you have to pay for the other festival show tickets yourself.
In addition, Circus and Dance Info Finland, the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux and the Finnish Institute in the UK and Ireland will organize a joint meeting for the participants, where they will meet circus and performing arts operators from the region.
The program becomes more detailed closer to the trip, and the information Circus & Dance Info informs those selected for the trip about registration and other travel arrangements.
Travel and accommodation support for participants:
Circus and Dance Info and the Benelux Institute support the travel expenses of three to four participants, max. 500 euros. In addition to travel expenses exceeding the support, the participants’ expenses include meals, airport transfers, local transportation and other possible expenses.
The participants commit to writing a trip report after the event. As an alternative, the participants can do a takeover of our Instagram and produce social media content during the trip. The details will be agreed on separately with each participant.

The Circus and Dance Info Finland and the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux will choose the participants based on the applications and their expertise.
Applicants will be informed about the decision by March 28th 2024.
