Seven live musicians, twenty-three and a half disco balls, one dancer and some eight deaths.
Power ballads accompany the last slow dances in the meadow of death. Company Uusi Maailma’s performers, reinforced with Ukrainian musicians, lead the audience through a distinctive musical microclimate. The original music is strolling visually and progressively beyond the borders of genres. Dance frequency varies from pure beautiful classical ballet to multicolored über-tragic fates. The stage is reversed, feels as if one is peeping into a backroom, afterparty or memorial service. Disco is dying. A nightclub happens.
