The Circostrada Network, of which Circus and Dance Info Finland is a long-term member, will gather for its General Assembly in Marseille alongside the BIAC Professional Forum. The Biennale Internationale des Arts du Cirque (BIAC) is held from January 7 to February 7, 2025, in Marseille and its surroundings. This year’s programme features a few circus artists of Finnish origin. Circo Aereo’s artistic alchemist Jani Nuutinen brings to the BIAC his solo trilogy Trilokia. It is a poetic exploration of humanity’s relationship with the living world in three parts. Gandini Juggling’s recent creation Heka, co-directed by Kati Yli-Hokkala, is also performed at the festival. Kati is a founding member of Gandini Juggling and one of the leading innovators in dance juggling. She performs in the show along with acknowledged juggler Sakari Männistö, also originating in Finland.
