Discover Finnish circus and dance abroad – Touring shows from May to August

Tero Saarinen Company: Study for Life © Sofia Okkonen

Curious where you can catch the bold world of Finnish circus and dance this spring and summer? From grand stages to intimate performances and street art, Finnish artists are making waves across Europe in the coming months.

Tero Saarinen’s powerful new work, into Kaija Saariaho’s music, will premiere at Holland Festival in Amsterdam. Wauhaus brings their latest piece, Renaissance, to Utrecht’s Spring Performing Arts Festival.

Meanwhile, Circus I Love You takes their vibrant show on the road through Sweden, Belgium, and France. In Portugal, Hanna Moisala (Lumo Company) combines contemporary circus with gastronomy, and at the Venice Biennale, performance meets architecture in the Nordic Pavilion. Kinetic Orchestra brings their fast-paced, acrobatic dance to Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
