Nonstop Paradise is a multidisciplinary hybrid: a fusion of performance art, media art, and experimental circus.
Nonstop Paradise is a hedonistic celebration that destroys everything, just like the lifestyle of the 2020s. The thoughts are simple, but extremely romantic, and therefore doomed. Beauty floats upside down and turns into terror. The most touching connection is the recognition of the ugliness of the other and of the self, and obviously the eventual death.
The work is a beautiful vomit, a hellish outburst of anger and a celebration of life that brings out all the colours of the rainbow at once. Nothing is left unrecognised: Malegaze bites into flesh as slimy milk drips on skin, a chainsaw strokes thin plastic tube, lovely roses are submerged in mouldy water while unknown tongues seek each other. The Western idea of paradise has been built on the backs of other people, animals, and the entire planet for what feels like an eternity, and there’s no end in sight. Nonstop Paradise interprets the individual’s tendency towards hedonism, daydreaming, and perfectionism through the lens of a circus and performance artist
