Zero Gravity Company’s performance memorial service, Funeral – Final Fantasy, is a moving, sensitive and hilarious collection of dreams, disappointments and memories at the moment of giving up. You are warmly welcome to participate in the memorial service and, if you wish, to show your sympathy in the form of a eulogy or other memorial service.

The funeral service will provide an overview of Zero Gravity Company’s history, past performances and unfulfilled dreams. Along with the farewell, we would like to celebrate the group’s 15-year journey and thank our audience and colleagues for the journey together. It would be a pleasure to see you again!

Founded in 2010, Zero Gravity Company is Finland’s first all-female contemporary circus group. The foundation of this pioneering group is the decades-long friendship between its members, united by a playful, layered, visual and multidisciplinary approach to circus. The group has done pioneering work to promote and make known circus art performed by women, producing contemporary circus works that boldly deal with themes related to humanity or dive into unraveling the internal questions of circus art. The multidisciplinary works move without prejudice between different art forms, forms and areas of life. In their works, the group strives to boldly challenge and propose ways of making circus art. During its 15 years of operation, the group has produced contemporary circus works for large audiences from Helsinki to Kittilä and internationally as far away as Mexico. The group’s members are Netta Reunanen, Reija Tapaninen and Maarit Utriainen.
