Circus of ideas too peculiar to live, but too fabulous to die! Imogen Huzel and Inka Pehkonen — “globally roamed, self-declared circus superstars” — present their fabulous new circus show Yes Person. Built entirely from ‘killed darlings’, the abandoned ideas from earlier works, this experimental, physical and satirical show gives the forgotten ideas a roaring second life. Funny, impressive, and stupidly genius.
Based on Kimberly‘s idea is to uncompromisingly and unpretentiously commit to a vision of what circus can be, and make things happen. Using the resources they have and whatever artistic medium best serves their vision, the duo create from a punk, playful, and politically left playground. Fueled by love and created with a clown mentality, Inka and Imogen frequently incorporate topics of feminism, freedom of speech, friendship, community, sexuality, and identity. Based on Kimberly aim to create an open atmosphere for artistic processes and experiments to grow and find their tangible place in the world.

Based on Kimberly’s performance Yes Person is featured in the programme of CirkusMania festival.
