Moon Bloom is Pori Dance Company's new premiere, where the beauty of Yyteri Beach meets the exuberant joy of dance.
Moon Bloom is a protest for humanity. It is a sense-opening dive into a late summer evening and an open horizon, reminding us of tenderness, humane presence, and the courage to remain open in encountering another person.
Dance and the beauty of Yyteri come together in an abundant joy of movement, in a work whose costumes shimmer in competition with the waves of the sea. Moon Bloom continues the journey of Riku Lehtopolku and the rest of the artistic team, following in the footsteps of the warmly toned, successful works Songs and Tänä iltana.
