Double dose of contemporary circus at Sorin Sirkus arena in October!
Sorin Sirkus will provide the perfect backdrop for professional productions by Tampere-based artists during the Tampere Day weekend on Saturday 3 October 2026. Sorin Sirkus will host the Akropatit groups latest production, Ammeshow, and Stygian by the Armour Circus Works group.
AmmeShow is a contemporary circus production by the Akropatit group, combining circus techniques, physical expression and humour. In the world of AmmeShow, beauty is pursued through the most unusual means, and at times, boundaries – and even limbs – are stretched to their limits. Three women come together in pursuit of perfection, leading to peculiar moments and bizarre snapshots. Bubbles, giggles, splashes and sparkle transport the audience to a pink wonderland. But what happens when the pink bubble bursts, the pursuit of ideals goes too far and the bathroom is turned upside down?
Stygian is a contemporary juggling piece in which the juggler’s unhinged virtuosity and deep soundscapes intertwine along a hazy timeline. Stygian is an abstract and psychological journey into obsessions, devotion and the limits of control, beyond which one might find a moment’s balance.
There will be a double performance on 3 October at 6.00 pm. Tickets for the event are available via Tiketti. Standard tickets are €31 and reduced tickets are €
