Noora Juppi Radicalis 2.0

I am the background against which life Stands out That is, your life

Radicalis 2.0 is a pole dance piece situated at the intersection of the built environment and non-human nature. Presented at Galleria Unika, the work examines the relationship between mental health and societal structures, particularly through the lenses of an accelerating pace of life and the demands for continuous growth. Growth is approached as a biological process, an economic phenomenon, and an internal human aspiration.

The piece draws on personal experience. We inhabit a finite planet and bodies that have their own limits. Yet, the surrounding system is built upon the concept of continuous growth. Radicalis 2.0 asks how this contradiction shapes the way we exist, think, and feel.

Radicalis 2.0 is part of the “Radicalis” series of works; the first installment premiered in Rauma in July 2026.
