A dance work exploring narcissism. Bodies of experienced dance artists play together with live music!
The narcissist, that tragicomic hero of everyday life!
A performance which discusses narcissism and the effect of it on human interaction, brings music and movement to the fore with four dancers and four musicians. The composition has been created for four instruments, whose live music elevates the performance to a multi-scale experience. Living in the terrains of dance theater and contemporary dance, Black Narcissus brings experienced dancers to the stage, whose bodies show a lifetime of dance and movement.
26.10. in connection with the performance, academy professor Anssi Peräkylä gives a lecture on narcissism to the audience, opening his research project The face of narcissism. Lecture in the hall of Tanssi talo 26.10. at 17:00.
