Aura Company Circus FALL Festival

Turku strengthens its position as Finland’s circus city as the Circus FALL Festival is held for the second time on 16–18 October 2026. The festival began in 2025, showcasing the versatility of contemporary circus and attracting wide attention. The 2026 programme takes place in Turku at Saaristobaari, Barker Theatre, Aura Company Theatre and Turku Arts Academy.

Programme 2026:

Eetu Ranta & Circo Aereo: Pyörre – A wordless contemporary circus performance suitable for the whole family, taking the audience on a hypnotic, atmospheric and comedic journey through spinning objects and acrobatic choreography.

Blackout Fools: Cabaret – Blackout Fools Cabaret is a dark caravan full of oddities. As night falls and the curtains open, the audience is treated to macabre burlesque, sideshow, circus and classical music. A performance for those seeking something beyond the ordinary.

Olli Vuorinen: Danceful Juggling – A workshop delving into the relationship between the body and juggling. Throughout the day, participants explore through exercises how the movement of body and object forms a precise, controlled and conscious whole.

Varietee Evening – A varietee night bringing together the strange, dark‑toned and humorous world of circus. The evening features physical theatre, contemporary circus, peculiar characters and visually strong scenes that create a distinctive and surprising atmosphere.

Duo Harha: Can you see me? – Duo Harha, formed by two circus artists, combines juggling and object manipulation, using lights, shadows, LED props, balls and contact staffs in their performance.
