The vertical dance piece Extracts of Hope by Heidi Miikki strives for freedom, explores courage, flies like a ninja, and climbs higher.
The piece speaks of radical and active hope, of daring to dream, and of being rebellious. The site-specific work engages in dialogue with the local architecture and environment, as movement brings the buildings to life from an entirely new perspective and highlights their unique character through gravity-defying vertical dance.
