Kuopio Dance Festival GöteborgsOperans Danskompani: ima

ima, which premiered in October 2024, is Eyal’s most personal work to date, as its title suggests: “ima” means “mother” in Hebrew. The piece explores themes of connection and loss.

Eyal and GöteborgsOperan’s Dance Company have toured successfully around the world. Their previous collaboration, SAABA, received critical acclaim and has been presented in cities such as London, Paris, Sydney, and Seoul since its world premiere in 2021.

For ima, Eyal once again collaborated with Dior’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri. The duo has worked together several times before, particularly in connection with Dior’s seasonal fashion collections.
