An immersive mystery play, 360 degrees audiovisual experience around you in an old school building in Oulu, through which you can take your own path.

Combining theatre, contemporary dance and circus Vihreät niityt takes you to 1952, the year of Olympic Games in Helsinki, the year when Armi Kuusela was crowned Miss Universe and the last train of war reparations took off to Soviet Union. It was a dawn of new, hopeful era, although the long shadows of war were still there…

The story begins from Muhos when Adam’s sister Sonja mysteriously dissappears.

The language of the performance is Finnish but Vihreät niityt is also suitable for an English speaker. English synopsis and guidance will be provided. Please, prepare yourself with comfortable shoes, the performance requires walking. The site is not unobstructed.
