Sandrina Lindgren's "Närproducerat" is a dance performance where she prepares a dinner. In the end the dinner is enjoyed together with the audience.
Sandrina Lindgren’s solo performance incorporates ordinary movements used in cooking as part of the choreography, which continues until the food is brought from the kitchen to the table. Human movement, music, pots and pans, and the aroma of steaming food together form a cozy miniature spectacle that highlights the greatness of small things.
During the choreography, the Traveling Chef of Grus Grus Theatre prepares a meal for the audience, which is served for the audience to enjoy after the performance. So, bring along an appetite for a delicious dinner and leave room for dessert as well.
Närproducerat premiered in Turku at Café Koroiset on May 7, 2021, and now it is part of Grus Grus Theatre’s Mental Airport program. The work was created in collaboration with the Western Dance Centre. The performance venue at festivals will be Luckan Åbo, located at Aurakatu 1 H, 20100 Turku.
The performance is non-verbal and aimed at adults (+12). The duration of the performance is approximately 1 hour, and dinner is allocated approximately 2 hours. The total duration of the event is approximately 3 hours.
