Once upon a time, just before Christmas, twilight would gently spread its soft blanket over the world… until one year, something strange happened. Someone decided to stop the darkness from falling!
Based on the beloved picture book by Mila Teräs and Karoliina Pertamo, Hämärinkäinen invites the whole family into a magical world of light, shadow, and wonder. Hämärinkäinen, the gentle weaver of twilight, works quietly to bring the peaceful evenings of winter. But when the determined florist Keikander sets out to keep the night away, the balance of the season begins to unravel. What will happen when the evening never comes – and what else might disappear with it?
With enchanting visuals and a touch of festive mystery, Hämärinkäinen is the perfect way to slow down, dream, and step into the magic of the year’s darkest days.
