Jyväskylä Dance Institute International Dance Day Show

Jyväskylä Dance Institute´s jazz-, ballet-, contemporary-, and hip hop dance students showcase their talent on the main stage of Paviljonki performance center on Saturday 25th of april at 19.00. This year we also have a performance by a K-pop dance group for the first time in Jyväskylä Dance Institute´s history. In addition, our street dance and performing arts competition groups will be bringing up the energy!

We are also proud to have a guest performance by dance artist Julian Owusu. Julian will be performing his solo dance piece Minimal/maximal/group effort that will address the notion how it is possible to create solo art in cooperation with others. The piece will recognize that no one will ever actually work alone. Minimal/maximal/group effort was created communally in cooperation with Räp-Sou-discord community.
