Kaatuva Hevonen Kyljellään Hyönteinen Lahoava

Lahoava is a performance from Kaatuva Hevonen Kyljellään Hyönteinen collective, where dance, poetry and music encounter and root together.

Lahoava plays between the perspectives of humans and those of trees and curiously questions;  What can we learn from the trees about decaying- as an individual, as a collective and as a society? How to accept constant change, connection and fragility?

Guest musician in the performance will be Jaakko Kuikka. Lahoava is a part of Puu-päivät event. Puu-päivät offers as well a tree workshop on the 1.8., where we approach trees through creative and  bodily practices. Drawings from Mari Hämäläinen will be seen in Ekoateljee during the event.

Puu-päivät is free of charge, but places are limited!

Puu-päivät is a part of Minä olen puu project, which started in 2022 and have taken a shape of a performance, a workshop, an exhibition and a poem book. Minä olen puu turns attention toward trees and wants to listen to them. Project aims to awake connection, presence and sensitivity towards trees through art, bodily experiences and dialog.
