TaikaBox Louhi

Louhi is a dance performance about friendship, strength, and survival – a story of a little girl who did not bend to fate but created it herself.

In a snowy cottage at the edge of the North, an old woman begins a story about the time she was a small, stubborn girl.

Inspired by characters from the Kalevala, LOUHI is a magical adventure about courage, kindness, and finding your own path. When young Louhi rescues a swan, outwits the forest, and dares to face a three-headed monster, she discovers that true power doesn’t come from fighting — it comes from listening, caring, and daring to be different.

A playful yet mysterious tale for ages 5–12, LOUHI weaves dance, storytelling, and song into an unforgettable journey through northern myth — where even the smallest child can change the world.
