The shiniest diamond of this year’s autumn season is not a singular maiden, but a whole dazzling comedyshow, with a fall 2026 premiere at the Alexander Theatre! Please allow me to share with you all the juicy details!

Here’s the deal:
Improvisation theatre Stella Polaris and Tsuumi Dance Theatre have come together to cook up a spectacle where romance, deception, pulsating scandal and utter buffoonery go hand in hand. This unofficial and improvised parody draws its inspiration from the beloved streaming hit, while mixing in something a bit more dangerous: complete unpredictability.

This isn’t the subdued recreation of the ton.

This is a bold, extraordinary and breathtaking experience – a perfect pick for office Christmas parties, date nights or for those who simply crave a little scandal (and comedy) in their lives.

On stage you’ll witness magnificent characters, intense emotions, music and dance – radiance that’ll leave even the most experienced socialites breathless. There’s so much more going on behind closed doors that I could possibly reveal here. And the capricious queen… ah, the object of her gaze is once again the mystery that leaves a whole season trembling with anticipation.

Whether you’re a die-hard fan of the show or just a self-indulgent viewer looking for sharp wit and live stagemagic, this show is hand-crafted just for you. You see, only few are capable of this – but the greatest improv artistes in Finland make elegance look dangerously effortless.

What is in store?

The spanking new concept by Stella Polaris has its premiere on a stage exuding with history and elegance at the Alexander Theatre in fall 2026! Drafted and directed by Mikko Penttilä and executed in collaboration with Tsuumi Dance Theatre, this entirely new improvised concept isn’t lacking in drama, romance or suspense!

This parody transports the audience into the as-seen-on-streaming world of familiar (and unfamiliar) characters and regency-era outfits. Get ready for large emotions, delightful humor, entertaining music and magnetic characters. Tsuumi Dance Theatre enriches the play with the beautiful and international language of movement and breathes life into the ballroom aesthetics.

This bold concept is inspired by the popular streaming show, which it is parodying unofficially and entirely independently. By combining elements of two formats mastered by Stella, romantic comedy and murder mystery, we end up with an interesting new entity, where every show is its own unique and entertaining totality.

This is the most gorgeous show of fall 2026, fit for every fan of comedy, romance, gossip as well as dance and improv!
