SWEAT SWEAT SWEAT is a political reflection on the corporeal, gymnastic, and cultural archive of classical ballet.
Sweat is the trace of a desire that escapes control, a physical language that can open new trajectories of meaning.
Giorgia Lolli and working group’s site specific dance performance, SWEAT SWEAT SWEAT, is presented for the first time in Italy. The work borrows from ballet not to reproduce its aesthetics, but to challenge it: a political reflection on a corporeal, gymnastic, and cultural archive. To be traversed, rewritten, and exploded.
