The spring gala in May at Almi Hall culminates the academic year’s hard work for the pupils and vocational students of the Ballet School. The repertoire includes both classical ballet and contemporary dance.
Students in vocational education will perform a new work choreographed by Sofia Ruija. The entire institution is involved in August Bournonville’s ballet classic A Folk Tale, with training provided to the students by Bournonville expert and former Artistic Director of the Finnish National Ballet, Dinna Bjørn.
