The True Prince is a clever update of H.C. Andersen’s The Princess and the Pea, in which the classic pea test takes on a wildly funny new form. Would-be friends are put through all sorts of trials — from looks and manners to their sense of humour. Are the expectations now so high that every candidate is doomed to fail? And this time, will the decisive pea be found under the mattress… or up someone’s nose?
