A raw and intimate solo performance by Tuulia Soininen that explores the aftermath of sexual violence through feminist performance art, contemporary dance and bodily storytelling.
Inspired by today’s rape myths and mythical depictions of women, the work invites the audience to join it on a complex journey towards reclaiming agency. Fleshy, darkly humorous and deeply moving, After is a powerful demonstration of the importance of art in making the wordless visible.
An audience discussion will be held after the performances, where viewers can stay and discuss the feelings and thoughts evoked by the performance.
