Finnish Circus & Dance in Focus magazine presents interesting artists, works and phenomena in the Finnish circus and dance sectors. The 2024 issue is now available online and printed.
The Focus magazine, formerly published by Dance Info Finland, has been renamed and now brings Finnish circus into the spotlight, alongside dance. The magazine is published once a year and handed out in events that Circus & Dance Info Finland takes part in.
In the 2024 issue artists talk about gender on circus stage, making performances for and with teens, advocating for a fairer and more sustainable arts sector, and about asking the difficult questions through performances.
The featured artists and groups include: Mad in Finland, Miradonna Sirkka, Salla Hakanpää, Sonya Lindfors, Janina Rajakangas, Elina Pirinen, Jyrki Karttunen, Luis Sartori do Vale, Race Horse Company, Pie Kär, Milla Jarko, Kerttu Opus, Suvi Tuominen and Nina Bulgakova.
