Petra Hannus has started working for the international development of dance at Circus & Dance Info Finland. She started in her new position on January 16th.
Hannus has extensive experience in international affairs and in the field of culture, versatile language skills and strong international networks. Before joining Circus & Dance Info Finland, she worked at the Goethe-Institut Finnland and was responsible for programming in the culture department, with a focus on theater, dance and music. Previously, she worked for several years as a cultural producer in Helsinki culture centers Stoa and Vuotalo, responsible for the diversity-themed programming of the houses.
“It’s great to get to be part of Circus & Dance Info’s skilled team and to work for strengthening the internationalization of the Finnish dance sector. Listening to the artists and the dance field is important to me in my new role, as are issues of ecological and social sustainability, accessibility and representation”, Hannus says.
