Miradonna Sirkka is a contemporary circus and performance artist, director and performer, and the founder and artistic director of Recover Laboratory, a Finnish multi-art collective. Her artworks are blends of experimental circus, performance art, installation and media art. Inspiration arises from pleasure, emotions that are too big to handle, disgusting and top secret thoughts and everyday awkwardness. Every detail is thought through too many times and dipped into a bowl of sugar and dragged out gruesomely realistic. Plasticity, Kitsch, pine forest and grittiness all feature in the works.

Miradonna graduated as a circus artist from Turku University of Applied Sciences, as a Master of Arts from Aalto University (Visual Culture and Curating Contemporary Art) and also studied media art in Tama Art University in Japan, Tokyo.

Recover Laboratory is represented at YPAM 2025 by Miradonna Sirkka.
