Ice Hot is an international showcase for Nordic contemporary dance, now in its eighth edition. In 2026 it will be hosted by Stockholm’s Dansens hus. The event will feature artists and performances from all over the Nordic countries.
Ice Hot Nordic Dance Platform takes place next year in Stockholm, Sweden, 1ˢᵗ – 4ᵗʰ June 2026.
The event showcases both emerging and established names in Nordic contemporary dance and choreography, bringing together presenters, programmers, and professionals from around the world.
Ice Hot Stockholm 2026 is not only a platform for artistic excellence but also a space for coexistence, where diverse perspectives, ideas, and artistic expressions come together.
Artists and performances shown on the platform will be selected through an open call which concerns Nordic dance artists and companies operating in the Nordic countries. The application period for artists is from 18th August to 18th September 2025.
Registration for presenters will open in February 2026 and the programme will be announced in March 2026.
The last edition of Ice Hot was held in 2024 in Oslo, showcasing 21 performances and 18 “More More More” pitches. Before that the event was organized in Helsinki in the summer 2022 where it attracted nearly 500 dance professionals from all over the world.
