HEL Treats visiting programme invites international presenters, programmers and journalists to Finland on 20–22 August 2025 to get a taste of performing arts in Helsinki.
The programme includes a diverse selection of mainly pitches and demos of circus, dance and theatre. During the two days, the guests will get a glimpse of the work of more than 20 artists or companies, and visit seven venues and a couple of studios.
The purpose of this visit is to broaden insight into the Finnish contemporary performing arts and strengthen networks on a long-term basis as well as give a chance to connect with Finnish artists and presenters from around the world. Circus & Dance Info Finland is happy to host over 20 guests from Europe, UK and Canada.
HEL Treats is the little cousin of the Performing HEL showcase of which the fourth edition took place in August 2023 in Helsinki. The showcase was organised by Circus & Dance Info Finland in cooperation with various partners. Despite our best efforts we did not manage to secure funding for the 2025 edition. However, the visiting programme HEL Treats of 2025 offers our guests an exciting glimpse of current Finnish circus, dance, theatre and performance art.
