Circus education

In Finland, a total of 15-20 circus professionals graduate annually from two vocational circus schools. Turku University of Applied Sciences Arts Academy offers a four-year circus program as part of its performing arts education program. Koulutuskeskus Salpaus in Lahti provides a three-year circus artist training program. Further education often takes place in European institutions specialising in the field.

Vocational Degree in Circus: Circus Artist
The degree consists of compulsory and elective studies. All students study with an aim to work in the circus industry as a circus artist. Elective studies may include areas such as service production, event management, or physical expression in the circus field.
