Moving in November 2026 Chen Amor Nadler: you are my eyes

you are my eyes plays with ritual and social gathering that meet a contemporary performative space, suggesting that the audience and the performer form a potential, already existing collective.

In this solo-gathering, Chen Amor Nadler dives into the bubbling and chaotic sense of the in-between; a comeback of a ritual sliding into a performance where endless entertainment parties, grief, relief, and a rhythmic pelvis guide her to expose unforgettable memories and create anew—sealed with a red satin fabric and Henna paste to your hand. you are my eyes is an English translation of a saying from Chen’s Moroccan grandma Hasiba. This means that through the other, one can understand better, or be completely confused, about their own existence. What you are looking at is also you.

The work grew from research begun in 2023 with collaborators and friends Kadence Luella Neill, Jacqueline Aylward, Daniel Motola, João Luís, and Tua Holappa.

The performance is part of Moving in November 5.–15.11.2026. As part of the festival, Nadler will take part in an open Soup Talks discussion on the 7th of November at noon in Caisa.

Please note: The performance contains partial nudity and loud music. The performance includes fruit and drinks and invites audience participation with natural Henna paste.
